Adding/Removing Feeds
Step one, right click on the news feed icon in your task bar.
Step two, select Add/Remove Feeds, a window will pop up.
To add a feed simply type it in, or copy it into the text box on the top of the window or you can select a news feed from the list on the left and it will appear in the test box. You may change the number of news items to display by changing the value as shown in the picture. Then click the Add button. This will add the link into the list. Then you can use the Move Up, and Move Down buttons to position the feed to your liking. Feeds at the top of the list will display before feeds at the bottom of the list.
To remove a feed form the list select the feed in the list so that it is highlighted, then click the Remove button. Your done!
To apply the changes simply click the close 'X' in the top right hand corner. The news ticker will reload and your new changes will have taken effect.
Adding/Removing Filters
Right click on the world wire icon located as seen in the image below.
Now select the filters menu item, a window like the on seen below will appear.
Simply click Add to add a filter, to remove select a filter and click remove. To save click the red "X" at the top of the window. Now World Wire will ignore any stories that contain those words or phrases.
Changing Options
To change the Background color or the Foreground color got to the options menu, then click on either the foreground button or the background button.
Then select the color you want from the color window and press the OK button.
Changing Speed
To change the speed of the ticker simply select the speed you desire from the drop down box in the options window.
Setting Refresh Rate
Simply change the value in the refresh rate box (in the options window), the values are measured in minutes, to lowest being 10 and the highest 120.
Saving Settings
To apply settings simply press close on the options window. All settings are saved when you exit the program.
